During a respiratory illness, the number that matters is the oxygen in the blood — and it cannot be judged by looking. The fingertip pulse oximeter in the e-clinic kit measures SpO2, pulse rate, pulse strength and perfusion index in about 10 seconds, and shows them on a large backlit LED display. It is built for accuracy and simplicity, so an e-clinic operator uses it as confidently as a clinician would.
The finger chamber is medical-grade hypoallergenic silicone with a SMART Spring System, so it fits a wide range of finger sizes comfortably — adults over 30 kg and children of 20–30 kg alike. The device itself is lightweight, runs frugally on its battery, and carries on a detachable lanyard.

What the device does
Four measurements in 10 seconds
SpO2, pulse rate, pulse strength and perfusion index in one 10-second reading — reliable numbers, quickly.
A display that shows the picture
Beyond the SpO2 figure, the screen shows the pulse waveform, pulse rate, a bar graph and battery level.
Fits nearly every finger
The hypoallergenic silicone chamber and SMART Spring System accommodate adults (over 30 kg) and paediatric patients (20–30 kg) comfortably.
Reads at low blood flow
The sensor returns a reading even when perfusion is weak, so difficult cases still produce numbers.
One button, careful with power
One-button operation, and an automatic shutdown after 8 seconds of inactivity keeps the battery lasting.
A reading, step by step
- 01
Clip it on
The soft silica-gel clip goes over the fingertip. Correct placement is what makes the reading accurate.
- 02
Keep the hand still
Hold steady for the few seconds the sensor needs — and avoid measuring straight after vigorous activity, which skews the result.
- 03
Clear the finger
Nail polish or pigments on the nail, and very bright ambient light, can interfere with the sensor. The operator checks for both.
- 04
Read the result
Within 10 seconds the display shows SpO2, pulse rate, pulse strength and perfusion index.
