Whole grain waffles
Whole grain waffles are a filling and healthy recipe. They are simple to prepare and may be customized with a variety of toppings and flavors. Whole grain waffles, with their greater fiber and vitamin content, are a wonderful way to start your day.

- 1 ½ cup of whole wheat flour
- 2 tbsp Baking powder
- ½ teaspoon of Baking soda
- 1 tablespoon Sugar
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- 2 large Eggs
- 1 ¾ cup Milk
- ⅓ cup of Vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon Vanilla extract
Method
- Preheat your waffle maker while you make the waffle batter.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- In a separate bowl or large measuring cup, whisk together the egg, milk, and butter or oil.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring just until combined. The batter will be a bit lumpy; that's OK.
- Cook the waffles as directed in the instructions that came with your waffle iron. Serve warm.
