Beef with mixed vegetables
Beef with mixed veggies is a hearty and delicious dish that blends succulent meat with a colorful range of vegetables. It is a popular stir-fry meal in many cuisines and has a healthy balance of protein, vitamins, and minerals.

- 500 grams Beef, thinly sliced
- 2 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Cornflour
- 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
- 1 Sliced onion
- 2 Minced garlic cloves
- 2 cup cut-up mixed veggies (such as carrots, broccoli, bell peppers, and snow peas)
- Salt
- Black Pepper
- 1 teaspoon of Sesame oil
- Cooked rice
Method
- In a medium bowl, mix together the beef, cornstarch, and soy sauce until well combined.
- In a wok or big frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over high heat.
- Stir-fry the beef in the pan for 2-3 minutes, or until it's browned on all sides. Set the steak aside after removing it from the pan.
- Stir-fry the onion and garlic for 1-2 minutes, or until the onion is transparent.
- Stir-fry the mixed vegetables in the pan for 3-4 minutes, or until crisp-tender.
- Return the beef to the pan and cook for another minute, or until it is cooked through and warm.
- Season with salt, pepper, and sesame oil (if using), and stir well.
- Serve immediately with cooked rice on the side.
