Paneer tikka
Paneer tikka is a tasty Indian appetizer or snack cooked with marinated and grilled paneer cubes with veggies. Its smoky and spicy flavors make it a favorite with vegans and non-vegetarians alike. Paneer is noted for its rich calcium and protein content.

- paneer (about 250 g)
- 1 cup Thick Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon Ginger paste
- 1 tablespoon Garlic paste
- 1 tablespoon Red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon of ground coriander
- ½ teaspoon Cumin powder
- ½ teaspoon Garam masala powder
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon oil
- Skewers
Method
- Cut the paneer into equal-sized cubes.
- Combine the yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala powder, salt, lemon juice, and oil in a mixing bowl.
- Add the paneer cubes to the bowl and gently toss to coat evenly with the marinade.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours, after wrapping the bowl in plastic wrap.
- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius (400 degrees Fahrenheit).
- Place the skewers on an aluminum foil-lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the paneer is lightly browned and the edges are somewhat crispy.
- Bake for a further 8-10 minutes, or until the paneer is completely cooked.
- Serve immediately with mint chutney and enjoy!
