Ingredients

1 ½ cup of rice, soaked
1 medium-sized carrot, grated
1 onion, chopped
1 potato, diced
½ cup of green peas
3 tablespoons of sunflower oil (Soorajmukhi ka tel)/Ghee
1 teaspoon of split black gram skinless (Dhuli urad dal)
Salt to taste
1 teaspoon of split Bengal gram (Chana Dal)

Procedure

Heat oil in a large non stick pan.
Add onion, potato, green peas and carrot.
Mix well.
Add salt, split Bengal gram (channa dal), and split black gram (dhuli urad dal) along with drained rice to it.
Mix well.
Cover and cook till the rice is done.
Serve hot.
