Cucumber raita
Cucumber Raita is a popular yogurt dish or condiment in India. Cucumber raita is frequently offered as a cooling complement to spicy meals. It helps to balance the heat while also cooling the palate. It contains vitamins C, K, B12, and B5.
Ingredients 7
- 1 cup of cucumber, finely chopped
- 1 cup of curd (Dahi)
- ½ teaspoon of chaat masala
- 1 teaspoon of roasted cumin (Jeera)
- Salt for taste
- 1 tablespoon of coriander leaves
- ½ tablespoon of mint leaves (Pudina), chopped
Method
- Take curd (dahi) in a bowl.
- Beat till it gets smooth
- Add the cucumber to the curd.
- Stir.
- Add chaat masala, salt, cumin (jeera), and coriander leaves (dhaniya)
- Mix well.
- Garnish with some coriander (dhaniya) or mint leaves (pudina).
